PT Lead
Katie Kirking, PT, DPT is a licensed physical therapist that specializes in treating the pediatric population from infant all the way through adolescent. She has experience in treating babies with torticollis, infants and toddlers with delayed milestones, and children with various different gait and muscular abnormalities. Katie focuses on enhancing motor skills, coordination, and overall mobility in her patients. Katie is also DMI Introductory Level A certified. These techniques can be used on any child to help achieve gross motor milestones; especially those with complex neuromuscular disorders.
Katie has a passion with working with kids and wants to help them achieve their full potential. She is dedicated to promoting optimal physical development and working with families/other healthcare professionals to create personalized treatment plans.
Katie graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University in 2017. She then continued her education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center’s Physical Therapy Program and graduated with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2020. Katie married her husband in 2019 and currently has a four year old daughter named Madison as well as a two year old son named Ryan. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading books, and exploring new places around the DFW metroplex.
